Attachment contains one of the most comprehensive tutorials on jazz improvisation I've ever read. It can be disappointing for English speaking users for it's been published in Russian :(

    Attached Files:

  2. Is there any software freely available to translate the PDF's? I'd love to read these...my computer skills are such that it would be probably easier(and quicker) to learn Russian..Ha Ha!!

    Thanks for the post anyway...;)

    (In)Complete lists of options:

    1. Get software to translate scanned Russian book into English
    2. Learn Russian
    3. Learn Chinese (even more fun :) then translate the book - This way there're much more possibilities to do it
    4. Learn standard notation and skip all that bul$..it (which in fact is the entire book)
    5. Go your own way: No book will teach you as thoroughly as your heart, imagination and taste. (There's no silver bullet)
  4. 1.Tried and failed!!!!
    2. I can only just claim to have a working knowledge of English - would you honestly be happy with me desecrating your mother language..Hee Hee
    3. Ditto #2 - but with more complications..
    4. What and become a "proper" musician? Ha Ha. I think I have notation dyslexia, no matter how many times I've tried to sit down and learn the theory, 10 minutes later it's gone. My defence...I play all the right notes, not necessarily in the right order...:D
    5. I'll go for this option, not only does it apply to me musically, but also how I live my life (which quite possibly is one and the same thing)

    :)
