    Dear Boplanders
I appreciate your postings on Bopland .org and a wish rose in my mind.
Since I've learned about Conrad Cork's concept of "Lego Harmony Bricks" and trying to get it into my ears, I'm thinking it'll be a cool thing to have these bricks on Bopland.
unfortunately I'm not a Jazz pianist and it'll be difficult and time consuming to create reasonable piano licks for myself.
I'd like to encourage you to study Conrad Cork's concept since this is a very powerful method of learning tunes and if possible contribute the bricks on bopland.org.

Bob Keller already made an attempt of having parts of it online at http://www.cs.hmc.edu/~keller/jazz/improvisor/ScrambledLego/...that may give you a quick idea of what I'm talking about.

    Thanks

    Dear Doobidoo,

Thank you so much for posting it here. Having bricks on bopland seems to be a great suggestion.
Give us some time to get in touch with this concept.

    Kind Regards,
    Nikita
  3. Thanks Doobidoo. ;)

if there would be a reasonable converter from Midi or Lilypond to Bopland syntax...I could probably contribute...

In general, Bopland is just a very small subset of Lillypond syntax, so conversion is not always possible. Could you please post a sample Lillypond snippet to be converted to Bopland syntax?

Yes, and we are very proud of that fact :)

Looks very interesting... Have you finally bought it or just played with trial version?

I'm working with the trial version, but probably going to buy it...I've made some suggestions to the author of the software.
It's much handier then BIAB and is the right match for backing tracks on the fly.

Recently I found out, that Bob Keller's Impro-Visor was updated to version 5.0!
It now supports Lego-Brick analysis and you can build a tune with bricks!!!
    It's amazing, great work, Bob!
